Folks, this has been a difficult year for all of us and that includes online stores and shipping companies like the US Postal Service, Fedex, and UPS. In a year where most of us are stuck at home, working from home, and many of us not really wanting to go to the big stores like Walmart, etc. many of us are shopping online. In fact, spending has surged for online shopping, way more than any previous year due to the pandemic.
Combine millions of people with the Coronavirus and therefore many people are out of work with a huge surge in online shopping, the shipping companies are OVERWHELMED! They are doing the best they can with short staff and way more volume.
The US Postal Service said that they are weeks behind in many deliveries. I know this from a personal perspective as I too, do the majority of my shopping online. I've had it take 5 weeks to receive an order that was shipped from within the USA to me here in Florida! I know what it feels like to have to wait to get something you want or to worry if a Christmas gift will make it on time. The closer it gets to Christmas, the worse SHIPPAGEDDON will get.
If you pay for express shipping, we will send it out express shipping, paying the shipping company for that express shipping, but of course, there is no way to guarantee how fast you will get your order and the shipping company will not refund the shipping no matter how long they take to get it to you, therefore we cannot
So, as far as LeatherLollipop.com goes, we have several warehouses throughout the United States that are shipping out as fast as they can, most will ship out the next day after you place your order. Once shipped, it's out of our control completely. I have some customers getting their packages right on time and I've had other customers have to wait several days longer than normal to get to them. I can assure you that at the least you won't be waiting for your order from Leather Lollipop a long time, like the five weeks I waited for one of my orders!
We appreciate each and every one of our customers and we know you want to receive your order in a timely manner. If I had control over the shipping companies, you would, but I'm just another shipper of products, I get no favoritism my way. Thank you for your business in this horrible year of 2020. May the year 2021 be better for all of us, but sadly with the way this election went, I sincerely doubt it. But I try to remain hopeful.
