INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES AND POLICIES

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
International customers are very welcome to shop here, to email us, to call us, and to order from us.  If you have questions, please feel free to ask us, we want you to be comfortable with ordering from us. 
Please be advised that shipping rates INCLUDE the first shipment from the factory to our offices. Many of our products are shipped factory direct to our customers in the USA and sometimes to Canada, however, in some cases, the factory will NOT ship outside of the USA and therefore, we must pay the factory to ship your order to our office first, then we will ship to you via USPS Express Mail International ONLY.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please note that shipping time will take longer for your orders, if you are outside of the USA. Our factories will not ship overseas, so once you place your order, we must first have your order shipped to our office. Once it arrives here, we will package it up for shipment to you.

For International Shipments, (outside of the USA and Canada), we ONLY ship via USPS Express Mail International. This is more expensive than airmail, however, in the past many shipments have been lost and cost us a lot of money. With Express Mail, we both get a tracking number so your package can be traced. With the less expensive airmail shipments, there are NO tracking numbers and NO way to trace a package if it becomes lost. Please do not ask for shipping via airmail, as we cannot do so. 
CANCELLATION of ORDERS: If your order has already shipped and is on its way to us or to you, it is too late to cancel. If we have charged your credit card and your order is being processed and has not yet shipped, you MAY be able to cancel it IF your order is not already packaged up and in the warehouse along with hundreds of other packages. Cancellation fee (IF NOT YET SHIPPED or packaged up) is $25.00 or 15% of your order total whichever is higher. Waiver of Cancellation Fee is non negotiable.
CUSTOMS OR DUTIES CHARGES: Your country may or may not charge you a Customs or Duties Tax Fee for importing goods into your country. We have no way of knowing if, when, or how much you will be charged. This has NOTHING to do with the shipping and handling charge you pay us. We do not get any of the Customs or Duties Tax Fee money, it goes to your government. If you want to know how much this tax is, you need to contact your local customs government agency and ask them. We will NOT ship your item(s) as a GIFT as that is illegal and we could lose our international shipping privileges and/or be fined or jailed. Do not even ask as we will not do this.


 BOOTS and SHOES Orders: Our boots and shoes factory will NO LONGER ship to Canada or any other country except for the United States. So expect delays if you order boots or shoes. What will happen is the boots and shoes factory will ship your order to our office and then we will in turn ship to you. This delays us being able to ship to you by about 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS. Business days do not include holidays and weekends.
ATTENTION CANADIAN CUSTOMERS

CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: See above for information regarding Customs and Duties Taxes and Fees. Again, we do not get any of this money. For most helmets, we ship via UPS or Fedex, but in some cases we will ship USPS Express Mail International. What shipping company we use will depend on which item(s) you purchase.
 
Upon picking up your package, you may be advised to pay the Customs or Duties tax. Again, we have no way of knowing if, when, or how much this is as we do not have any control over that nor do we get any of that money. The Shipping and Handling fee you pay us covers what we pay for shipping and handling charges. If you do not agree with our shipping and handling charges or you do not agree with paying Customs Fees IF they are charged to you, then please do not buy our products.
 
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS!
Our international customers are very important to us here at Leather Lollipop.  We have customers from all over the world.  Just a few of our international customers reside in, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Mexico, Canada, Ireland, The Netherlands, Greenland, Italy, Spain, Norway, and Portugal.
We value you here and we know that there are many online shops in the United States that do not process orders for customers in other countries.  Leather Lollipop is a world wide leather and motorcycle helmet shop.  We have many friends all over the world that started off as visitors to our website.  We would like to thank our many international customers for visiting Leather Lollipop and for helping our business to grow.  Thank you.
We will do our very best to get your order to you in a timely manner, however, we of course have no control over the US Post Office nor any other shipper or courier.  We cannot accept returns due to delays through no fault of our own.  We will do our best and ship out your order to you via the US Post Office which is less expensive, but also takes longer.  Please be aware that once the order leaves the USA, our Post Office in the USA has no control over what happens when it gets to your country.  Most of the time the delays have been due to being held up either by Customs in your country or by the Courier who holds the international shipments in your country.  Even though technically, some areas and states, such as Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, etc. are still not guaranteed to always arrive in a timely manner when shipped via the US Post Office.  You will save money by using the US Post Office for your international shipments, however, we cannot make guarantees of the fastest arrival.  If you need the time frame guaranteed you will need to pay for shipping of much higher rates via UPS. 
SHIPPING OPTIONS:
  • UPS, UNITED PARCEL SERVICE - Most expensive but most reliable, you get a tracking number and firm date of arrival in your country.
  • USPS - EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL, normally 5 business days AFTER PROCESSING TIME to reach you and you get a tracking number. Less expensive than UPS.
International Customer Policy:  If you are paying with a credit card, your credit card MUST be verified through the Address Verification System, MUST be shipped to the same address as the billing address that your bank has on file.  We must first verify that you are the owner of the credit card used via your bank or credit card institution BEFORE we can ship out your order.  Most of the time, this only takes a matter of a few hours or a day or two, but sometimes, there could be a much longer delay, depending on your banks policies.  See below for a summary of International Customer Policies:
  • No credit card refunds will be issued unless we are out of stock and you do not want to exchange or substitute the item. 
  • When placing an order on this website you are agreeing to our International Customer Policies.
  • We will do everything in our power to get your order to you in a timely manner, but if we cannot get your credit card verified through your bank or through the AVS (Address Verification System), you will have to list your current address and information with your bank before we will ship out your order.
  • We cannot be held responsible for your order once it is out of the USA.  If you have requested that we send your order via the US Post Office rather than a shipper such as UPS or DHL or FEDEX, once it leaves the USA, the US Post Office loses control over your package.  This means that Leather Lollipop cannot be held responsible for lost or misdirected or delayed orders.
  • In most circumstances your order will be shipped out the next business day AFTER your credit card AVS matches.
  • If we cannot verify the AVS on your credit card whether the banks fault or whether you may have moved, etc and the bank does not have the current information, we will ship out your order once enough time has passed to make sure the credit card transaction does not come back as a fraudulent transaction, (in other words, we must make sure that once the owner of the credit card receives their statement(s), they do not advise the bank their credit card was used fraudulently).
We have many international customers and we appreciate every one of them, but due to the high rate of credit card fraud, we have to abide by this policy. This protects us and our customers.

You may still place an order for boots and shoes, however, the factory will ship to our office first, and then we will ship to you. This delays your shipment by about 5-7 BUSINESS days.
